What is Acupressure Therapy?

Jin Shin Do is Japanese for "Way of the Compassionate Spirit". It is a complimentary health method, which combines gentle yet deep finger pressure on acu-points. Jin Shin Do is a combination of Oriental Theory, Taoist Philosopy Japanese Acupuncture and Western Psychotherapy.

Acupressure is a way of accessing and releasing blocked energy in the body. When we cannot fully express our emotions (grief, anger, fear, etc.) our energy can become blocked or stuck. This can lead to either physical pain, feeling stuck in certain emotions, or both.
